Discover four captivating European capitals on one unforgettable journey, with guided tours of Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. Highlights include a River dinner cruise, a traditional winery visit and tasting, Bratislava’s historic centre and a Hungarian folklore evening with dinner, alongside plenty of free time to explore each city at your own pace.
NK Holidays are acting as an agent for your booking on this holiday. We will supply transport from your chosen pick up location to Maidstone Services, where you will board the Jason Edwards coach. You will then be on your holiday coach to Europe. Upon your return, NK Holidays will meet you at Maidstone Services for your onward transportation back to your pick-up point.
Day 1
Following our early morning pick-ups, we depart for Calais and our crossing to mainland Europe, continuing to our overnight hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, we depart our overnight hotel and continue to Prague. On arrival, check in to our hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 3
Today we discover Prague on a guided walking tour of the historic centre. See some of the city’s most famous sights while learning about its fascinating history and architecture. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace before this evening’s two-hour dinner cruise on the MoldauRiver, including a buffet dinner and wonderful views of Prague illuminated after dark.
Day 4
After breakfast, we leave Prague and travel towards Vienna. En route, we visit a local winery for a tour and tasting of different wines, with time to browse the winery shop. We then continue to Vienna and check in to our hotel.
Day 5
Today we explore Vienna on a guided city tour, taking in highlights including the State Opera House, Hofburg, Parliament, City Hall and Burgtheater. We also visit magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, the former imperial residence, where we can admire its lavish state rooms and 18th-century interiors.
Day 6
After breakfast, we depart Vienna for Bratislava. A guided walking tour introduces us to the Slovak capital and its historic centre, followed by free time to explore independently.
We then continue to Budapest, where we check in to our hotel before enjoying a traditional Hungarian folklore evening, including live music, dancing and a three-course dinner.
Day 7
Today we discover Budapest on a guided city tour, taking in famous sights including Buda Castle, the Parliament and St Stephen’s Basilica. The remainder of the day is free to explore at your own pace. Browse Váci Street, relax in a traditional café or enjoy a stroll along the Danube.
Day 8
After breakfast, we depart Budapest and begin our journey back towards the UK, travelling to our overnight hotel.
Day 9
Following an early breakfast, we depart our overnight hotel and continue our journey home.
